Contract Manager – Road Maintenance Projects

About the role

BCB Solutions, a leading provider of Routine Road Maintenance (RRM) and road construction services, is seeking experienced Contract Managers to join its professional register. Successful candidates will be considered for appointment on high‑value infrastructure projects across South Africa as they become available.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of RRM contracts in line with contractual requirements and SANRAL specifications.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors and site personnel to ensure safety, timeliness, budget compliance and quality standards.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and performance monitoring.
• Administer contracts according to GCC, COTO/COLTO and other relevant conditions.
• Monitor costs, budgets, cash flow and prepare monthly payment certificates and progress reports.
• Maintain primary liaison with SANRAL, engineers, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage contractual, operational, financial and project risks.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act, environmental regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• BEng, BSc Engineering or BTech in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 7) or higher.
• Active registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) or SACPCMP (Pr CM or Pr CPM).
• 5–10 years’ experience managing SANRAL road construction or RRM projects.
• Proven experience in contract administration, project management and cost control.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
