Content Marketing Manager – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

Remote Recruitment is seeking a proactive Content Marketing Manager to shape and execute the content strategy for a UK‑based business. Based in South Africa, you will work fully remotely, creating compelling content that strengthens brand authority, engages target audiences, and drives growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the end‑to‑end content marketing strategy across blog, email, social media, and video channels.
• Commission, write, and edit high‑quality pieces that align with business objectives.
• Maintain a content calendar and ensure a consistent publishing cadence.
• Collaborate with SEO, design, and paid‑media teams to maximise the impact of each asset.
• Measure performance, analyse engagement and conversion metrics, and report insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or a similar role.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a strong command of English.
• Proven track record of managing content calendars and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional home workspace.

Required skills

• Experience with CMS platforms, specifically WordPress.
• Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking content performance.

What we offer

• Salary of R28,000 per month.
• Full‑time, permanent remote position.
• Working hours: 09:00‑17:00 UK time (11:00‑19:00 SAST).
• Equipment provided and 20 days paid leave.
