Content & Email Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Content & Email Marketing Specialist to join a fast‑growing sports‑tech company. The role is fully remote and focuses on turning programming data into engaging newsletters for players, coaches, and clubs across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and organize weekly coach, player, and metro newsletters.
• Write short paragraphs of local racket‑sports news and curated "what to play this week" recommendations.
• Coordinate with programming and team data to select events, clinics, leagues, and social opportunities from the inventory marketplace.
• Integrate sponsor and boosted program placements naturally into newsletters.
• Track newsletter performance metrics such as opens, clicks, and sponsor delivery.
• Maintain a clean content calendar and strict weekly publishing checklist.

Required profile

• Proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or email‑marketing management.
• Exceptional written English with a community‑focused tone.
• Strong operational discipline and ability to manage content calendars and publishing checklists.
• High attention to detail and data‑coordination skills.

Required skills

• Beehiiv or similar newsletter platforms (MailChimp, Klaviyo).
• Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, Sheets) for tracking and calendar management.
• Internal communication tools such as Slack or WhatsApp.
