Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Centurion (or another site if relocated). You will lead the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects, ensuring they meet design specifications, quality standards and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site activities, supervise construction teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and enforce construction safety protocols.
• Manage project budgeting, cost control and financial tracking.
• Track resources, materials and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with project control, engineering and other internal stakeholders to resolve technical or scheduling issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and communicate with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Identify risks proactively, solve problems and support continuous improvement of construction processes.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory experience leading construction teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven experience managing medium to large‑scale construction projects, preferably in infrastructure or mining.
• Solid understanding of construction safety standards, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction methods, materials and site operations.
• Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
