Computer Application Studies Educator (FET)

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a dynamic Computer Application Studies Educator for the FET phase to join its high‑school network. The role involves delivering blended learning experiences that prepare scholars for matriculation while fostering inquiry‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, teach and co‑teach face‑to‑face and distance lessons, including academic and club sessions.
• Collaborate with grade‑level and content partners to design rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
• Develop and administer formative and termly assessments, analyse data and intervene to support scholar progress.
• Lead social and emotional development through Character Quotient (CQ) sessions and reflections.
• Design programmes for low‑performing scholars and enrichment for high‑performing scholars.
• Participate in place‑based education, career guidance and tertiary pathway initiatives.
• Implement SPARK culture and behaviour‑management strategies.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, scholars and families.

Required profile

• Content specialist in Computer Application Studies for the FET phase.
