Community Associate

About the role

Eucalyptus, part of Hims & Hers, is a consumer healthcare platform supporting patients across many countries. As a Community Associate based remotely in South Africa, you will be the trusted voice of its members, building relationships and guiding them through their health journey while growing a supportive online community. You will also help shape the processes behind the scenes.

Key responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day of the online community, building trusted relationships and keeping it a positive, supportive space.
• Support virtual events, Q&A sessions, challenges and other initiatives that foster belonging.
• Moderate user-generated content against community guidelines, responding promptly and empathetically.
• Work in a cross-functional team to triage, respond to and escalate patient communications, minimising patient safety risks.
• Use community insights and data to improve how members are engaged, educated and inspired.

Required profile

• A relationship-builder who earns trust and makes members feel they belong.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with data and community metrics.
• Organised, independent and a strong team player, comfortable with fast-paced change.
• An obsession with patient experience.
• Bonus: a background in nutrition, dietetics or coaching, or experience in content creation, social media or community management.
