Commissioned Financial Adviser – Durban & Surrounds

About the role

We are seeking a self‑motivated Commissioned Financial Adviser to serve customers in Durban and surrounding areas (Westville, Chesterville, Sherwood). The adviser will help clients achieve their long‑term financial goals by assessing needs, providing sound advice and delivering tailored financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients to generate new business.
• Expand sales of Old Mutual products and services with existing customers.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and implement “fit‑for‑purpose” financial plans.
• Maintain accurate sales data and use sales software to track activities.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships based on trust and consultative selling.

Required profile

• Self‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong consultative selling abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently on own leads.
