About the role
Old Mutual is seeking a Commissioned Financial Adviser to serve clients in Bloemfontein, Welkom and Colesberg. The adviser will help customers achieve their long‑term financial goals by identifying needs, providing sound advice and delivering tailored financial plans.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and assess clients’ financial needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Provide consultative financial advice and implement “fit for purpose” plans.
- Procure new business and expand sales of Old Mutual products and services.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Generate and work primarily on own leads.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated, dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build trust.
- Education: NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
Required skills
- Consultative selling and direct selling.
- Customer relationship management.
- Oral communication and probing questioning.
- Identifying sales opportunities and strategic selling.
- Use of sales data management and sales software.
