Code 10 Driver – Brackenfell

About the role

A well-established national distribution business is looking for a dependable Code 10 driver to join its Brackenfell-based team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the road as well as taking part in warehouse operations when needed. The ideal candidate has experience in both long and short-distance deliveries and fits a multi-skilled role supporting logistics, stock handling and warehouse flow.

Key responsibilities

• Safely and on time deliver goods on local and long-distance routes
• Load and unload stock
• Provide general warehouse support when not on the road
• Assist with stock control and basic inventory tasks
• Keep vehicles clean and carry out safety checks and roadworthiness checks

Required profile

• Valid Code 10 driver's licence (essential)
• Proven driving experience, long and short haul
• Grade 12 / Matric preferred, though not essential if experience is strong
• No criminal record and no previous dismissals; verification of previous employers required
• Consent to polygraph and drug screening

Required skills

• Forklift licence is advantageous
• Warehouse and stock handling experience is beneficial
• Good knowledge of road safety and delivery procedures
