Storeman / Puller – Retail Warehouse

About the role

A busy retail warehouse operation in Brackenfell is looking for a practical, organised Storeman/Puller to keep stock flowing smoothly. The role suits someone who works accurately, keeps a tidy workspace and enjoys being part of a hands-on warehouse team. The focus is on receiving goods, picking and preparing customer orders, moving stock safely and keeping the warehouse organised and efficient. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Receive stock and check that paperwork and goods are correct.
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately for dispatch.
• Load and offload goods using the correct procedures.
• Store stock in the correct locations and keep it easy to access.
• Prepare warehouse orders for delivery or collection.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
• Report stock or delivery discrepancies to supervisors.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team and help improve warehouse processes and customer service levels.

Required profile

• 1-2 years' experience in a retail warehouse environment.
• Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
• No criminal record; no previous dismissals; previous employment will be verified.
• Willingness to complete a polygraph and drug screening.
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.

Required skills

• Forklift operator's licence or certificate is an advantage.
• Computer literacy is beneficial.
• Organised, methodical, reliable and good communicator, comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
