Cluster Construction Manager

About the role

The Cluster Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all on‑site activities for wind turbine projects on behalf of Goldwind. This role ensures HSE compliance, coordinates subcontractors, manages project progress, and maintains high‑quality standards throughout transportation, installation, and commissioning phases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HSE compliance on site, oversee safety of equipment, personnel and daily work, handle safety incidents and non‑conformities, and organise monthly safety audits.
• Communicate with customers, attend owner‑organised meetings, compile daily work logs and distribute them to project managers and clients.
• Organise and lead meetings with subcontractors, manage site work, and coordinate weekly project meetings to record progress and issue resolution.
• Represent Goldwind on site, develop transportation and installation plans, and coordinate all interfaces to avoid idle work and extra costs.
• Monitor site project progress, identify deviations, mobilise resources for corrective actions, and work with the project manager to meet deadlines.
• Control construction quality according to company ITP requirements, covering turbine transport, installation, acceptance and commissioning.
• Review subcontractor payment documents against milestone requirements and provide feedback to the project manager.
• Prepare payment documentation for project milestones, supporting timely project cash‑flow.
• Set up and supervise project documentation on SharePoint, ensuring regular archiving of letters, turbine files and important emails.
• Lead on‑site team building, maintain cohesion and ensure stable, efficient performance of employees.
