Clinical Coder – Home‑Based (South Africa, Poland or UK)

About the role

Parexel is looking for a Clinical Coder to work remotely from South Africa, Poland or the United Kingdom. The role supports clinical studies by performing medical coding activities and contributes to the development of coding SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Code assigned clinical trials using standard coding dictionaries.
• Review coded data for consistency, accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.
• Prepare and forward coding reports for medical review.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and accurate coding aligned with project goals and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biology or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical coding role.
• Strong knowledge of clinical data coding methodologies and global regulatory and data‑management standards.
• Understanding of research and development, clinical trial execution and guidelines such as ICH GCP.
• Familiarity with major coding dictionaries (e.g., MedDRA, WHODrug).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.

• Base salary range for Poland: PLN 141,500 – 199,100 per year.
