Client Relationship Manager - Interior Design

About the role

An award-winning interior design and commercial space-planning consultancy, which specialises in full-turnkey workplace transformations for corporate brands, is looking for a high-calibre Account Executive to act as its primary client relationship manager. The role drives revenue, manages project life cycles and ensures exceptional delivery from the first site survey to final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, manage expectations, hold weekly client meetings and resolve queries quickly.
• Carry out initial site surveys and building evaluations to compile preliminary cost estimates, then work with designers to finalise space plans, budgets and proposals and close deals.
• Lead internal project teams (Project Managers, Designers, Site Coordinators, Buyers), chair weekly internal and site meetings, allocate resources, confirm quotes and follow up on orders.
• Ensure quality control on site and during manufacturing, and keep pricing, variations and invoicing accurate through the accounts department.
• Manage client credit terms and account balances, and assist with debt collection where needed.
• Supervise site snags, furniture installation and move logistics, and prepare handover files (layouts, warranties, compliance certificates, COCs).

Required profile

• Exceptional planning skills to manage complex project schedules, coordinate multiple suppliers and keep deliverables on track.
• Natural ability to build rapport, handle high-pressure negotiation and stay resilient under pressure.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, able to pitch proposals and present layouts and budgets to executives.
• A valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle, as site visits, factory checks and client meetings are frequent.
• Strong financial orientation, attention to detail and sound decision-making in commercial fit-out or interior design settings.
