Client Account Manager, Programmatic Media

About the role

This remote position supports South‑African clients and agencies in the delivery of programmatic media campaigns. You will act as the primary point of contact for campaign execution, reporting and technical coordination, ensuring a smooth experience without sales responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own routine client and agency communication for active campaigns, reporting, launches and delivery queries.
• Manage account calendars, reporting schedules, status calls, open items and internal follow‑through.
• Triage client questions and coordinate with Programmatic Operations, Data and Dashboard teams for technical input.
• Translate technical campaign and data explanations into clear, client‑ready communication.
• Coordinate creative assets, tags, geographic requirements, timelines and other launch dependencies.
• Guide clients through reporting and dashboard outputs, identifying potential issues.
• Proactively escalate delivery, relationship and scope risks.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and ensure commitments are recorded and fulfilled.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in digital media, advertising, agency account management or client success.
• Exceptional written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to lead agency or brand calls independently and professionally.
• Strong project‑management, organisational and follow‑through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities and recurring deadlines.
• Good understanding of digital/programmatic media and campaign concepts.
• Strong judgment on when to resolve issues independently versus escalation.
