About the role
Hollywoodbets is seeking a Cash Monitoring Operator to work in the Team Support office in Umhlanga, Durban. The role involves monitoring cash reconciliations at retail betting branches during assigned shifts and ensuring compliance with cash handling protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor cash reconciliations at Hollywood Retail branches during your rostered shift.
- Ensure clerks do not exceed cash drawer threshold limits by applying system blocks or following telephone escalation protocols.
- Confirm physical transfer of betting clerk monies to the Admin Back Office safe via telephonic confirmation.
- Prepare and send day‑end shift reports, morning update reports, and special reports in emergency cash situations.
- Assist the CMD Team Leader or Risk Manager with additional risk‑management duties and provide on‑the‑job training for new recruits.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Computer literate – proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Advantageous: experience within a branch betting environment.
