Creditors Team Lead

About the role

iKhokha is seeking a dynamic Creditors Team Lead to own the end‑to‑end management of its creditors book. You will lead a team of Creditors Officers, ensure payment accuracy, and support the company’s B‑BBEE strategy while maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely payments to creditors, reviewing reconciliations between purchase orders and invoices.
• Administer new and existing creditor relationships, including onboarding and compliance with procurement controls.
• Review and approve purchase orders, accrual listings, and monthly credit‑card statements.
• Generate monthly creditors age analysis and recommend remedial actions.
• Support hedging of foreign creditor invoices and profit‑share reporting.
• Train and develop a team of Creditors Officers.

Required profile

• Business administration or finance degree/diploma.
• 5+ years leading an accounts payable/creditors team with a book size of at least R30 million.
• Experience in technology, telecoms or large‑scale retail environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational and negotiation skills.
