Business Transformation Intern - Corporate Finance

About the role

FTI Consulting, a global expert firm for organisations facing crisis and transformation, is recruiting an Analyst Intern for its Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice in the EMEA region. The internship starts in January/February 2027 and focuses on technology and digital transformation aspects of client engagements. The practice supports banks, private equity, sovereign wealth and corporate clients in acquisitions, disposals and stressed or distressed situations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of client engagements from a technology and digital transformation perspective.
• Support the analysis and review of the technology domain across Business and Technology / Digital transformation engagements.
• Perform and complete parts of the engagement or standalone sections in reports and deliverables, with support from Consultants and Senior Consultants.
• Populate and update technology deliverables or documentation under supervision.
• Ensure quality control in all deliverables and develop a foundational understanding of company value drivers.
• Communicate effectively with senior team members and clients, and build internal and external relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Informatics, graduated in 2025 or 2026.
• Available to join a one-year full-time internship in January/February 2027.
• Previous experience at an audit or consulting firm is preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication and excellent analytical skills.
• Great organisational skills and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
