Business Systems Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Group IT Shared Services team in Parktown, Gauteng. You will translate complex business challenges into scalable technology solutions, driving process improvement and delivering real business value.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, document, test and implement business and system requirements.
• Map and redesign business processes, creating As‑Is and To‑Be designs.
• Develop user stories, process flows, solution designs and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders, developers and project teams.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, feasibility studies and quality assurance activities.
• Support testing, UAT, solution rollout, training and ongoing business support.
• Identify automation and integration opportunities to improve efficiency across the Group.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Formal Business Analysis training.
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and testing.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience in process re‑engineering and continuous improvement.
