Business Relationship Specialist – Global Markets Operations

About the role

This position enhances Global Markets operations, focusing on Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Markets. You will ensure smooth trade lifecycle execution, bridge operational processes with system capabilities, and drive continuous improvement to elevate service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain constructive working relationships.
• Utilise subject‑matter expertise to resolve operational challenges and enhance service delivery.
• Champion process and system integration to streamline the Global Markets trade lifecycle.
• Identify, understand and mitigate financial, transactional, reputational, legal, regulatory and credit risks.
• Leverage data‑driven tools for performance measurement and informed decision‑making.
• Contribute to projects that improve operational capabilities and system functionalities.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in Global Markets operations, with deep knowledge of Money Markets and FX products.
• Proven ability to build and nurture stakeholder relationships across organisational levels.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation and translating business needs into operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of cash management, interest‑rate instruments and foreign‑exchange transactions.
• First‑degree qualification in Business or Commerce.
