Business Growth Lead – South Africa

About the role

We are seeking a Business Growth Lead to own the end‑to‑end growth strategy for a key business line in South Africa. In this high‑visibility position you will drive revenue, customer acquisition and overall commercial performance while working in a fast‑paced, experiment‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and own growth targets, revenue goals and core KPIs for the assigned business line.
• Identify, prioritize and execute high‑impact growth opportunities across the full customer journey.
• Develop and roll out quarterly growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead cross‑functional execution by aligning marketing, product, retail, partnerships, creative and performance teams.
• Analyse funnel performance, uncover bottlenecks and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
• Plan and manage campaigns, launches, experiments and strategic growth projects.
• Improve operational efficiency through workflow automation and scalable processes.
• Remove execution blockers and ensure accountability across all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in growth, business operations, strategy, marketing, product marketing, consulting or startup leadership.
• Strong understanding of acquisition strategies, conversion optimisation and growth frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical capability with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Track record of delivering measurable business growth and commercial impact.
• Outstanding communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a rapid environment.
