About the role
Curro is seeking a full‑time Bus Driver for its DigiED Victory Park campus in Johannesburg. The driver will transport learners safely between designated collection points, the school, and on school trips.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a school bus on prescribed routes, ensuring punctual pick‑up and drop‑off of learners.
- Plan and execute routes for school trips, coordinating stops as needed.
- Maintain discipline among learner passengers in line with school policies.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, report mechanical issues, and keep the vehicle clean.
- Complete transport records and fuel checks.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks, facility inspections, minor repairs, and garden upkeep.
- Support security, access control, and traffic management during peak times.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Valid EC1 or C1 driver’s licence and a valid PDP.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Clear criminal record.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime.
