STH Controller

About the role

The STH Controller will support the marketing and administration of the Short‑Term Hire fleet, building strong customer relationships and ensuring contracts, invoicing and asset tracking are managed efficiently to meet company KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to obtain PO numbers, prepare quotes and ensure monthly invoicing is completed by the 20th.
• Coordinate with Shipping & Transport to arrange cost‑effective delivery and collection of short‑term units.
• Work with the service department to record and charge any customer‑caused damage and report breakdowns.
• Collect usage hours by the 5th of each month, process supplier orders and ensure all costs are recorded by the 25th.
• Maintain debtor records, resolve queries promptly and follow up with debtors before month‑end.
• Perform weekly stock checks, ensure valid rental agreements and load test certificates are in place, and keep all documentation on the shared drive.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Good administration skills and ability to meet monthly deadlines.
• Preferably some industry experience.
