Branch Manager - Security Services

About the role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Branch Manager in Cape Town to lead the overall management of sales, marketing, operations, technical and administrative functions within the branch. The role aims to maintain high operational standards, grow the branch, meet deadlines and budgets, and reduce crime levels. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership of the branch and its employees, communicate the branch's vision and strategy, and make timely decisions for its long-term success.
• Prepare and monitor budget plans, annual business plans, operating and sales budgets, and branch forecasts; manage the branch P&L and collections.
• Meet monthly sales and technical revenue targets, support the technical manager, and manage a sales team while collaborating with Marketing on sales campaigns.
• Establish planning and production controls, improve quality and customer service, monitor service metrics, and manage the branch fleet and operational Area Managers.
• Attend client visits for contact crimes personally, and manage health and safety, compliance with company policies and SA law, and marketing activations including social media and OTT strategies.
• Review customer feedback, develop new market and product opportunities, and work with operational managers on residential guarding and bulk sale proposals.
• Manage people, including training, recruitment paperwork and staff development, and reduce attrition and bad debt risk.

Required profile

• Mid-management level experience of at least 3 years.
• Post-matric qualification in General Management and a sales, marketing or management diploma are advantageous.
• Knowledge of budgets, forecasting and profit and loss; Grade B security certificate (existing or to be obtained on appointment).
• Experience in the security industry preferred.

Required skills

• Computer literate: MS Office, advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Extensive knowledge of operations, sales, technical and administration.
