Branch Manager – Retail (Elim Mall)

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Sanlam Retail Mass branch at Elim Mall, driving growth in customer base and revenue while ensuring an excellent client experience. This role combines strategic planning, people leadership, and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through execution of the branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise the activities of Sales Consultants to meet strategic goals.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to ensure an optimal client experience both inside and outside the branch.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, business planning and compliance for the retail branch.
• Oversee people practices for direct reports in partnership with HR, including performance management and talent development.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• At least 5 years of recent industry experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.
