Branch Manager – Mall of Tembisa

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Sanlam Retail Mass branch located in the Mall of Tembisa, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will be responsible for implementing the branch strategy, ensuring compliance, and delivering an excellent client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the retail branch strategy, overseeing sales, service delivery and business planning.
• Lead, coach and manage Sales Consultants, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality and risk standards.
• Oversee operational people practices in partnership with HR, including talent management and performance reviews.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities, and engage key internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, customer service orientation and business acumen.
