Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant

About the role

Ergasia Placements is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to support the finance team of a fast‑growing sports and lifestyle organisation. The role offers hands‑on experience in day‑to‑day financial and administrative tasks while working closely with project and finance colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Book travel arrangements for clients and staff.
• Raise purchase orders and capture supplier invoices.
• Process manual payments and prepare payment summaries in Excel.
• Invoice clients and reconcile client statements.
• Assist project teams with finance‑related duties.
• Provide general office and administrative support.

Required profile

• Good working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• High level of computer literacy with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and a strong team player.
