Bookkeeper – Johannesburg

About the role
We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Johannesburg. The role involves managing the full spectrum of debtor and payroll functions while supporting day‑to‑day financial administration.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the complete debtor cycle, including invoicing and account queries.
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for staff using Accsys Peopleware.
- Prepare monthly NBC returns for relief workers.
- Manage EFT payments, petty cash, and creditor transactions.
- Control warehouse and self‑store inventories.
- Oversee leave controls and provide general administrative support.
Required profile
- Matric or Senior Certificate with Mathematics.
- At least three years of experience in debtor and payroll functions.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Google web‑based applications.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Competence in Microsoft Word.
- Experience using Accsys Peopleware payroll software.
