Behavioural Health Coach (Remote, Pretoria)

About the role

Intellect is looking for a Behavioural Health Coach to join its telehealth platform, supporting clients' mental health and personal growth according to their individual needs and goals. The work is mainly done in scheduled 30-minute video sessions on the platform. It is a freelance remote role with flexible business hours, open to local candidates and others, and can supplement a current job or private practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 telehealth professional or mental health coaching for Intellect's clients
• Focus on sub-clinical cases such as work stress, procrastination and work-life balance
• Help clients set up personal or career goals and relationships
• Work with the internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform

Required profile

• Active ICF certification, or a Master's or postgraduate diploma in Counselling
• ICF coaches need at least 200 coaching hours; counsellors need at least 300 clinical hours after graduation
• Proficiency in English and the local language
• Prior experience in EAP, counselling working adults or coaching managerial roles is prioritised
