AWS Engineer – Cloud (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high‑traffic applications. The position is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, offering the chance to work with a global leader in IT services and consulting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and VPC.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeDeploy.
• Monitor performance and reliability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and third‑party tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to AWS services, networking and security configurations.
• Document infrastructure, processes and best practices for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Understanding of security best practices, IAM policies and compliance frameworks.
