Automation Tester – Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, developing and maintaining automated test solutions for web and enterprise applications within the banking and financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and/or C#.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks, including integration with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Perform functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing, as well as API validation.
• Analyze test results, log defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Maintain test artifacts, dashboards and quality metrics, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in banking, financial services or insurance.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Java and/or C#.
• Proficiency in API testing, SQL for database validation, and version‑control/CI‑CD tools.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) and test reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
