Automation and Digital Enablement Manager

About the role

This senior position sits within the Business Banking Risk division and is responsible for modernising risk management through automation and digital solutions. The role will drive the reduction of manual processes, improve data quality, and embed AI responsibly across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Automate production, distribution and reporting of recurring management information.
• Streamline data extraction, cleansing, reconciliation and validation workflows.
• Develop intuitive dashboards and self‑service reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Group and Business Banking Data & Analytics offices to apply emerging data initiatives.
• Design and oversee digital controls to ensure accuracy, scalability and compliance.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree (NQF level 7 or equivalent) such as a BSc in Computer Science.
• Proven experience leading AI, automation and predictive‑analytics initiatives in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate high‑level objectives into actionable plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and change‑management capabilities.
