About the role
PwC is hiring a Senior Associate Auditor in East London. The role performs a senior function on audit assignments, helping to manage a portfolio of smaller clients across attest, accounting and consultation work, while assisting in managing the audit team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a senior role on audit assignments
- Assist in managing a portfolio of smaller clients in respect of attest, accounting and consultation work
- Manage special projects
- Monitor costs against budgets
- Contribute to office management and staff development
- Staff management and appraisals
- Report writing
- Ensure compliance with PwC audit methodology
Required profile
- Professional qualification: studying towards the CA(SA) qualification
- 3 years of completed traineeship
- Sound leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, analytical and solution-driven, proactive and committed to delivery
Required skills
- IFRS knowledge
- Computer literacy with all of PwC's software
- Attention to detail and strong time management
