Assistant Stores – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Assistant Stores role supports the efficient storage and movement of manufactured stock within the warehouse. You will ensure that both labelled and unlabelled products are accurately recorded in the computer system and are readily available for production and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Store manufactured stock in the warehouse and record it in the computerized inventory system.
• Perform picking, housekeeping and general warehouse upkeep.
• Issue materials to relevant stakeholders while ensuring the correct documentation accompanies each issue.
• Assist in maintaining good manufacturing practice standards throughout store operations.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift driver certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work in accordance with the company’s employment equity objectives.
