Assistant Project Manager – Residential Development

About the role

Join a fast‑growing residential property developer in the Western Cape as an Assistant Project Manager. You will work side‑by‑side with senior management and gain hands‑on exposure to every stage of the development lifecycle, from feasibility to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with feasibility studies, planning and due‑diligence assessments.
• Coordinate contractors and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Track programme schedules and support financial administration.
• Prepare municipal submissions and conduct site inspections.
• Contribute to project delivery across high‑end residential projects.
• Roll up sleeves and support the lean development team wherever needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Property Studies or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in residential development, construction, site management or project management.
• Exposure to high‑end residential projects is advantageous.
• Ambitious, articulate, well‑presented and commercially aware.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport and residence in the Southern Suburbs are a plus.
