Aspiring Financial Adviser – Welkom/Hoopstad

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking self‑motivated, dynamic individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as Aspiring Financial Advisers. Based in Welkom (with coverage of the Hoopstad area), you will help customers achieve their long‑term financial goals by delivering tailored advice and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify clients’ financial needs through consultative conversations.
• Provide sound, unbiased financial advice and recommend appropriate products.
• Design and implement “fit for purpose” financial plans.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales data.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with customers.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication and consultative selling abilities.
• Education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12, School Leaving Certificate, National or Occupational Certificate, or equivalent.
• Willingness to work onsite in Welkom and travel within the assigned territory.
