About the role
Reporting to the Counting House Manager, the Teller is responsible for counting and verifying client money at the Welkom branch. The role ensures accurate cash handling and supports ATM preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure cash processing procedures are adhered to
- Count and verify money
- Balance and reconcile money
- Operate money counting machines
- Pack ATMs
Required profile
- Clear criminal record
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Computer literate
- At least 2 years’ cashier experience or similar role
- Able to work under pressure
- Honest and reliable
- Good verbal and language abilities
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Attention to detail
- Self‑motivated
- Willing to work overtime
- Alertness
- Numeric skills
