About the role

Old Mutual is seeking an Aspiring Financial Adviser to join its Alberton office. The role champions valued customers, helping them achieve their lifetime financial goals by identifying needs, providing sound advice and delivering tailored, fit‑for‑purpose financial plans. You will work closely with clients to understand their aspirations and translate them into actionable strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify clients’ financial objectives and assess their current situation.
• Provide clear, unbiased financial advice and recommend appropriate products.
• Design and implement customised financial plans and solutions.
• Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales data and compliance documentation.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication, consultative selling and relationship‑building abilities.
• Action‑oriented, able to build networks, collaborate effectively and ensure accountability.
• Matriculation Certificate (Matric) is required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales‑related software tools.
• Experience in sales data management.
