Architectural Drafter

About the role

We are looking for an Architectural Drafter to translate engineers’ and architects’ specifications into detailed construction drawings. The role involves creating accurate plans using both computer‑aided design (CAD) software and traditional drafting techniques, supporting project teams from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and convert engineering and architectural specifications into clear, precise drawings.
• Produce design plans using CAD tools or manual drafting methods.
• Add construction details based on building techniques, codes, and site conditions.
• Visit construction sites before and during build phases to gather site requirements and adjust drawings as needed.
• Specify types and quantities of materials required for each project.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
• Prepare cost estimates based on material and labor requirements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of building techniques, codes, and site‑specific requirements.
• Ability to work on‑site to capture real‑time changes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction teams.
