Android Developer – Talent Pool

About the role

The Android Developer will join Discovery Insure’s digital team to build and enhance the Discovery mobile application. Working closely with product owners, business analysts, UX/UI designers and system architects, you will translate business needs into high‑quality Android solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and design system solutions.
• Develop, test, and release Android features using Java or Kotlin.
• Maintain and support applications across development, test and production environments.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, release, and post‑release support.
• Explain the Android developer role at each stage of the system development life cycle.

Required profile

• Ability to technically support and maintain deployed Android applications.
• Understanding of business, functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality source code.
