About the role
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join an insurance‑focused client on a 12‑month contract in Cape Town. The role involves building and maintaining high‑quality Android applications while adhering to industry best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate REST APIs and other services.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and project standards.

- Proven experience in Android development.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
