AI & Automation Specialist (GoHighLevel)

About the role

Huzzle connects professionals with global companies in the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, including startups, digital agencies and tech platforms. It is recruiting an AI & Automation Specialist to design, build and scale intelligent systems that power both internal operations and client success. The role sits at the intersection of automation engineering, product systems and client-facing communication, and is a high-ownership position for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise automation workflows using tools such as GoHighLevel, n8n, Make or Zapier, and audit existing systems for scalability and reliability
• Integrate platforms via APIs, webhooks and automation tools, and develop and maintain CRM systems, pipelines and multi-step workflows
• Architect end-to-end AI and automation systems for clients, covering lead generation, nurturing, content creation and sales processes
• Connect CRMs, email platforms, calendars, payment systems and project management tools, and troubleshoot and maintain deployed solutions
• Create SOPs, user guides and technical documentation, explain technical concepts simply, provide technical support and contribute to technical content
• Build scalable automation systems for onboarding, operations and data management, and maintain the company's technical backbone

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building automation workflows and CRM systems in real business environments
• Expert-level proficiency in GoHighLevel (GHL)
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Strong technical documentation skills and experience working directly with clients or stakeholders
• Self-directed, strong problem-solving ability, comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, with product thinking around scalability, UX and maintainability

Required skills

• Automation tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier
• Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks and systems integration
• Familiarity with data management tools such as Airtable or Google Sheets
• Bonus: experience in agency or consulting environments, technical content creation, familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows, and personal brand or interest in AI/automation
