About the role

Old Mutual is seeking an Advancing Financial Adviser to join its Polokwane team. The role focuses on delivering tailored financial advice, building lasting client relationships, and driving growth through consultative selling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial advice and product recommendations to individual and corporate clients.
• Identify client needs and financial goals through probing questions and thorough assessments.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline, tracking opportunities with sales data tools.
• Maintain accurate client records and use sales software to document interactions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure balanced solutions and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate, or equivalent.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complexity and build trust with diverse client bases.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales software.
• Experience in sales data management.
