Advancing Financial Adviser – Bloemfontein, Welkom, Colesberg

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for an Advancing Financial Adviser to join its team across Bloemfontein, Welkom and Colesberg. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them understand financial products and ensuring a high level of service throughout the sales journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide standard customer service, handling simple inquiries and receiving visitors.
• Assess compliance with standards for routine inquiries and follow mandatory procedures.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM system and record follow‑up actions.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their financial needs.
• Prospect and develop relationships with allocated potential customers via phone or in‑person visits.
• Support business development tasks and identify new sales opportunities through referrals and recommendations.
• Extract and input relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Participate in networking activities both inside and outside the company.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
• Full‑time availability.
• Strong customer‑focus and ability to follow compliance and regulatory procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales software and CRM data management.
