Administration Manager (40 hrs/week)

About the role
The Administration Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing all administrative and stock‑related activities at the Mall of the North store. This role ensures accurate stock monitoring, compliance with reporting procedures, and a safe, customer‑focused retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with stock‑take and overall store administration.
- Monitor and analyse stock movement, implementing risk‑management procedures to reduce shrinkage.
- Extract and analyse store reports to evaluate turnover and stock performance.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with all administrative, system, and reporting standards.
- Control cash and transactional activities, ensuring processes are followed.
- Uphold safety and security procedures within the store.
- Process customer transactions using the POS system and identify customer needs through professional engagement.
- Promote cash‑reward programmes to build customer loyalty.
- Adhere to visual merchandising principles and housekeeping standards.
- Continuously develop selling skills and product knowledge while working with the team to meet sales targets.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years retail or administrative experience.
- Strong interest in fashion trends and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Good verbal and written communication, organisational, and planning abilities.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
- Computer literacy for routine administrative tasks.
