Accounts Receivable Administrator (Debtors)

About the role

BBL Security Products is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Administrator to join its finance and administration team in Cape Town. The role is full‑time, office‑based and focuses on managing debtor accounts, processing payments and providing high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate outstanding items.
• Process and allocate customer receipts, manage daily banking and petty‑cash reconciliations.
• Conduct debtor collections, follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive relationships.
• Resolve account queries and disputes promptly and professionally.
• Prepare credit notes, account adjustments, month‑end debtor reconciliations and related reports.
• Maintain accurate debtor records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with general finance and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in accounts receivable, debtors or credit control.
• Matric qualification; accounting or bookkeeping qualification is an advantage.
• Strong reconciliation abilities and high level of integrity.
• Excellent telephone manner and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with IQ Retail (ERP Go) preferred.
