Accounts Payable Clerk

About the role

KFC Rohloff Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage its accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely payments to suppliers. The role includes capturing data accurately in Business Central and other supporting software, and preparing supplier reconciliations for review and payment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and within agreed timelines
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare supplier payments according to payment schedules
• Follow up on outstanding invoices, credit notes and supplier queries
• Maintain accurate supplier records and supporting documentation
• Ensure correct allocations to branches, departments and general ledger accounts
• Process and monitor Infraspeak work orders and related documentation
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues and support month-end closing and clearing of AP accounts
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls, provide remittance advice and communicate with suppliers
• Support departmental KPIs, continuous improvement and reporting on creditor age analysis

Required profile

• Matric with Accounting; a financial qualification is an advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in creditors and accounting/reconciliation, including processing large volumes of payments
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment, with good stress management and attention to detail

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel (Microsoft Office)
• Experience with Business Central is an advantage
