Account Manager - ATL Media

About the role

Carat is seeking a dynamic, client-focused Account Manager in Sandton to manage client relationships, deliver integrated media solutions and ensure the successful execution of campaigns across Above-The-Line (ATL) media channels. The role suits a strategic thinker with strong project management skills who enjoys building trusted partnerships and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships and act as the day-to-day contact for assigned accounts
• Understand client business objectives and marketing goals through regular engagement
• Develop and implement media strategies aligned to client objectives
• Plan, execute and optimise ATL campaigns across television, radio, print and out-of-home channels
• Oversee campaign delivery so projects are accurate, on time and within budget
• Identify ways to improve media performance and present recommendations and results to clients
• Collaborate with internal teams and media partners on integrated solutions
• Manage campaign budgets, reporting and financial administration for client accounts
• Act as first point of contact for campaign queries and stay informed of industry trends

Required profile

• At least 3 years' experience in media account management, client service or a similar role
• Proven experience managing campaigns and budgets
• Experience across ATL channels: television, radio, print and out-of-home
• Understanding of media strategy development and a data-led approach to analysing data
• Relevant qualification in Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, Advertising or a related field is advantageous
