Account Executive

About the role

Vodacom is seeking an Account Executive to manage strategic key accounts, build long‑term relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and drive profitable revenue growth across its portfolio of voice, data and ICT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement account strategies to meet financial targets, including revenue, market share and net margin.
• Maintain primary relationships with C‑level decision makers, leveraging them to create new value and win business.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, retain and grow existing business, and ensure effective service delivery.
• Prepare and share detailed account plans, complex sales road‑maps, and regular performance reports.
• Own escalated customer complaints, support finance in debt recovery, and ensure timely delivery of the correct products and services.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of sales and service experience in telecommunications or ICT environments.
• Proven ability to manage portfolios, increase NPS scores and reduce administrative expenses.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence C‑level executives.
• Experience in solution selling to enterprise customers and translating business objectives into Vodacom propositions.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for business travel.
