Account Developer

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is seeking an Account Developer to join its sales team in Pietermaritzburg. You will own a territory, work directly with customers, and help grow market share for one of Africa’s most loved beverage brands. The role offers hands‑on experience, structured learning and the chance to make a real impact in local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales targets and increase market share within the assigned territory.
• Build long‑term relationships with customers across retail outlets.
• Execute trade‑marketing and promotional activities to company standards.
• Use digital sales tools to track performance, manage orders and improve visibility.
• Collect market insights and identify opportunities for new business.
• Ensure proper equipment placement, stock rotation and compliance with company policies.
• Champion the company’s purpose of uplifting communities while driving growth.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or equivalent experience in sales, marketing or business.
• Strong commercial orientation with numeric literacy.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to take ownership of a territory.
• Customer‑centric mindset aligned with company values.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
