12-Month Internship Programme – Multiple Disciplines

About the role

Sentech LTD is offering a 12‑month internship programme designed to give recent graduates practical workplace experience across a range of technical and creative fields. The internship is a fixed‑term contract based at Sentech locations in South Africa, with the primary site in Honeydew.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in day‑to‑day activities within the assigned department (e.g., engineering, media, design, IT).
• Support project teams by applying academic knowledge to real‑world tasks.
• Attend training sessions and on‑the‑job learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver project deliverables under supervision.
• Comply with Sentech’s health, safety and confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• National diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronics/Telecommunications), Media Studies, Broadcasting, Film, Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Data Science or Information Technology.
• South African citizen, aged up to 35 years, currently unemployed and not enrolled in an MICT SETA‑funded programme.
• Submission of a detailed CV, certified ID copy (≤3 months old), certified academic transcripts, proof of disability (if applicable) and an affidavit confirming unemployment.

Required skills

• Relevant technical knowledge in the chosen field of study.
